長(zhǎng)毛兔的養(yǎng)殖離不開(kāi)兔籠，兔籠是兔生活的重要場(chǎng)所，其采食、飲水、運(yùn)動(dòng)、休息、排泄和繁衍等都在籠內(nèi)停止。因而，兔籠的建造必需合適長(zhǎng)毛兔的生理特性，到達(dá)造價(jià)低，經(jīng)久耐用，管理便當(dāng)?shù)恼?qǐng)求。

（1）兔籠的規(guī)格依據(jù)家兔不同種類類型，普通每只兔的籠位面積0.5左右，大型兔、產(chǎn)仔母兔、種公兔的籠面積稍大一些。以養(yǎng)獺兔為例，普通養(yǎng)種兔的兔籠的規(guī)格為：寬×深×高=60厘米×50厘米×40厘米，養(yǎng)商品獺兔的兔籠規(guī)格為寬×深×高=90厘米×55厘米×40厘米。普通養(yǎng)種獺兔的籠位面積不宜低于0.3。也可依據(jù)養(yǎng)殖戶的條件作恰當(dāng)調(diào)整。兔籠在構(gòu)造上請(qǐng)求防獸害、鼠害，防兔啃咬，操作便當(dāng)，利于防疫衛(wèi)生。視養(yǎng)殖戶條件，可采用磚、石、木、竹及金屬資料修建，但是要做到籠內(nèi)上、下、左、右、前、后六面的潤(rùn)滑，既防止掛傷兔，又有利于清潔衛(wèi)生。用木材制造，內(nèi)側(cè)要刨潤(rùn)滑；竹片竹青向內(nèi)，竹節(jié)削平，粗細(xì)分歧；磚砌應(yīng)用水泥抹面涂光：金屬外表應(yīng)涂油漆或鍍鋅或筑塑，以防塵銹。
(1) The specifications of rabbit cages are based on different types of rabbits. The average cage area of each rabbit is about 0.5 square meters. The cage area of large rabbits, litter-bearing female rabbits and breeding male rabbits is slightly larger. （2）籠門(mén)普通開(kāi)在兔籠的前面，采用單開(kāi)式籠門(mén)。可選用鍍鋅鋼網(wǎng)或鍍鋅鐵絲或用鋼絲壓型成籠門(mén)后，鍍鋅或筑塑。

（3）籠底板籠底板應(yīng)力圖平整，結(jié)實(shí)，便于兔活動(dòng)，糞便漏下以及清潔。普通用楠竹制造底板。竹片制備成2～2.5厘米寬，竹片邊緣打磨潤(rùn)滑平直，按1～l.2厘米的間距，竹片方向應(yīng)與籠門(mén)垂直（即竹片是橫著放的），釘于竹條（或木條）上。籠底板應(yīng)做成活動(dòng)式，便于定期取下刷洗。
(3) The stress map of cage floor is flat and firm, which is convenient for rabbits to move, feces leaking and cleaning and disinfection. The base plate is usually made of bamboo. The bamboo slices are prepared to be 2-2.5 cm wide. The edges of the slices are polished and lubricated straight. According to the distance of 1-1.2 cm, the direction of the slices should be perpendicular to the cage door (i.e. the slices are placed horizontally) and nailed to the slices (or sticks). The bottom plate of the cage should be made into a movable type to facilitate regular removal, scrubbing and disinfection.
（4）承糞板裝置在兔籠底板下部，承接兔的糞尿，兼作下層兔籠的頂板。請(qǐng)求承糞板平整潤(rùn)滑、不漏水、不積糞尿，選用1.5厘米厚的水泥板或0.5厘米厚的石棉水泥板或塑料板。裝置承糞板時(shí)應(yīng)由前向后傾斜呈15～17度，前面伸出籠外3～5厘米，后面伸出5～7厘米，接入排糞溝，使一切糞尿都能由板面直接流入糞尿溝。
(4) The fecal plate device is at the lower part of the bottom plate of the rabbit cage, which receives the feces and urine of the rabbit and serves as the roof of the lower cage. It is requested that the fecal plate be smooth, lubricated, waterproof and free of feces and urine. The 1.5 cm thick cement plate or 0.5 cm thick asbestos cement plate or plastic plate should be selected. When installing the fecal plate, it should be tilted 15-17 degrees from the front to the back, extending 3-5 cm out of the cage in front and 5-7 cm behind, so that all feces and urine can flow directly into the fecal and urinary ditch from the surface of the plate.
（5）兔籠普通分為活動(dòng)式或固定式兩種，活動(dòng)式多為單層，少數(shù)為雙層和多層；固定式多為雙層或三層。
